Private properties that have applicable fees, i,e donations, koha or set fees to be able to stay onsite.
( fees will be depending on what is provided onsite ) Similar to POPs are Charges Apply Parking ( CAP ) properties.
These are also parking spots where a small charge or Koha is paid to be able to use the facilities onsite.
Setting up a Park Over Property
Asking visitors to pay a donation or charging them a fee to park overnight may require you to apply for exemptions under the Camping-grounds Regulations 1985.
If you are unsure whether your POP site requires resource consent or exemptions under the Camping-grounds Regulations, contact your local council and ask to speak to their duty planner.
